WHAT'S BEHIND OTB
“A dreamer is one who can only find his way home by moonlight” - Oscar Wilde
I’m John, the creator of Off to Bunbury. The name has links to the Oscar Wilde play The Importance of Being Ernest and my designs draw on the whimsical and the abstract, which were big elements of the play.
In this spirit sometimes you may need to look at my designs twice, think about them from a different perspective, or you may even see something completely different to me, but that’s all part of the adventure.
As well as the shirts and designs, on this website, I will try and explore some of my inspirations and other projects. They might not have an obvious linking thread, except that they have inspired me at some point or they might be part of an idea I am yet to fully form.
But, in doing this, I would love to hear from you. What are your thoughts about what is on here, where could it go and what inspires you?
